The 2020 OECD brief Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines for developing countries: An equal shot at recovery examines the case for multilateral approaches to access and delivery, maps key challenges and identifies priority actions for policymakers. It recognises that lack of access to vaccines in developing countries can prolong the health crisis, and offers policy recommendations to accelerate vaccine efforts. These include supporting multilateral frameworks for equitable allocation of vaccines and for crisis response, resilience and prevention, highlighting the role of development finance, and promoting context-driven solutions.
